Jalapeno Jack Corn Bread

1 cup flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
2 tbs. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/5 tsp. salt
2 cups grated Vella Jalapeno Seasoned Monterey Jack Cheese
3/4 cup milk
2 beaten eggs
1 4 oz. can chopped green chiles, drained

Combine dry ingredients.

Stir in grated Vella Jalapeno Seasoned Monterey Jack Cheese.

Add combined milk and eggs, mixing until just moistened.

Pour into greased 9 inch square pan.

Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.

Variation: omit green chiles. Add additional 1/2 cup milk.
